Be a friend to Coast's homeless

IF YOU'VE been feeling the cold this week, spare a thought for those Coffs Coasters sleeping rough.

As part of National Homeless Persons Week, Coffs Harbour Housing & Support Forum is building awareness with a number of events.

An information expo is being held as part of tomorrow's Growers' Market in the Coffs Harbour city centre, so people in housing crisis can talk to service providers about support available locally.

Local advocate and secretary of Homelessness NSW, Meena Johnson, is also inviting you to be part of Cold Night Out at the Uniting Church Soup Kitchen from 5pm-7pm tomorrow.

Contact Ms Johnson at the housing support service on 6691 0115.
