BBC eager to share Woolgoolga life with its viewers

BBC TV will be in town this weekend, filming to take a little bit of Woolgoolga back to the United Kingdom.

The local Bollywood Markets celebrated their fifth birthday and to celebrate the television station is sending crews to film over the weekend.

"BBC TV are coming for the day and have marked the 'Coast Australia' program to be broadcast in England," market co-ordinator Surinder Kaur said.

"They will be there catching all the action."

Coast Australia celebrates the great Australian coast and communities living by the sea.

"Come help celebrate with us, there will be lots of interesting stalls, food and music entertainment."

The Kabila Moja Drummers, Sacred Lotus Dancers and local musician Martin Van Veluwen will be performing.

"It's inclusive family fun - love Woopi, love the markets."

The markets take place on Woolgoolga Beach Reserve on Saturday.
