Melbourne Ballet Company back in Coffs by popular request
AFTER sold-out performances at the Jetty Memorial Theatre last year, the Melbourne Ballet Company is coming back to Coffs Harbour on Saturday, August 1.
"Melbourne Ballet Company is always hugely popular at the theatre and tickets sell out fast," Jetty Theatre manager David Brammah said.
"We are delighted to present their new program Divenire this year. Our advice is always, 'book early to avoid disappointment."
The Melbourne Ballet Company is a team of 10 world-class dancers; highly esteemed artists who have been members of major ballet companies from around the world.
They present a dynamic repertoire, which has been acclaimed in the press as both thrilling and compelling.
Divenire is a striking program of precision and impressive athleticism.
This program sets out to offer something for everyone and encapsulates the beauty, athleticism and passion of Contemporary Ballet. Fluid and expressive choreography, executed with flawless ballet technique is accompanied by a sparkling selection of musical masterpieces, making for a positively uplifting experience.
There will be two performances of Divenire on Saturday, August 1, an afternoon show which is great to bring kids along to and an evening show at 8pm.
