Australia Zoo Great Garage Sale will help save wildlife

AUSTRALIA Zoo kicks off its Great Garage Sale annual twilight market on Saturday, August 4, raising support for wildlife conservation.

The zoo carpark will go wild from 1-7pm with more than 70 stalls including food trucks, fashion and jewellery, and live music throughout the day.

The whole family will be entertained with a jumping castle, activities and face painting for the kids.

Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin have donated pre-loved goodies for sale at their Australia Zoo stall along with a signed merchandise package to be raffled.

All proceeds and donations will support Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors' conservation projects around the world including the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.

Sustainable You & Me owner Elizabeth Harris said she was happy to be involved in the garage sale.

"The zoo reached out to me, I think, because of our focus on sustainability and the impact it has on wildlife makes us a good fit for the zoo,” she said.
