Aussie lends Little A's a hand

THE Sawtell/Toormina Little Athletics Club has taken full advantage of the Lend a Hand program offered by Aussie.

The program offers support to any local sport or community group at grassroots level and the Little Athletics club has benefited to the tune of $6000.

The money will be used for new equipment and operating costs.

Aussie Coffs Harbour franchisee Craig Budden said he and his staff were delighted to be able to help worthy local organisations.

“It’s fantastic to be able to help the Sawtell/Toormina Little Athletics Club as they provide a wonderful service to the local community by offering an environment for the young to pursue a fantastic sport,” he said.

“And it’s not over yet.

“Any other parent or supporter of Little Athletics locally can still earn $100 for the club simply by either calling Aussie Coffs Harbour or by following the link on the Sawtell/Toormina Little A’s website.”

For each club member who completes a full appointment with an Aussie mortgage broker to assess their current home loan or look for a new loan, the company will give $100 to the local junior club of their choice.

Aussie makes no secret of how proud it is to be able to support junior sport at its grassroots, where the future generations of Australian sporting champions lie.

“The real heroes are the mums and dads who tirelessly give their time and energy to support their kids, whether it be coaching, running the barbecue or selling raffle tickets to raise money for uniforms,” Budden said.
