Aussie biker girls break world record

COFFS Coast Women on Motorbikes members were among more than 1000 biker girls who smashed a new world record for the largest women motorbike ride in Dubbo.

The previous record was set last August in the United Kingdom with 246 biker girls clenching the record from the Aussie girls, who set the original record in 2014 of 221 bikie ladies on 190 motorbikes at the 2WheelBabes Ballina Babe Raid.

On Saturday, the Aussie girls smashed the UK record with 1002 strong ride to reclaim the record.

More than 15 Coffs Coast women were among the world record breaking all-women biker meet.

WOMBS founder, Sue Mills said the girls 'kicked butt' at the meet with the massive group taking more than 50 minutes to ride out of the centre arena.

She said the community support shown in Dubbo was awesome with people lining the streets cheering them on and holding up signs.

"I couldn't believe how many people came out in support. It was so good," Ms Mills said.
