Ashleigh ready to tune up

ALTHOUGH she doesn't play guitar, Ashleigh Hamilton is now willing to give it a go.

The Coffs Harbour teenager couldn't have been happier after receiving the news that her mother, Helen had won the Coffs Coast Advocate's Pete Murray meet and greet promotion.

Helen and her daughter are the winners of a Gibson guitar which they will have personally signed by Pete when they meet him later this month at his Coffs Harbour performance.

"I'm a huge Pete Murray fan," Ashleigh said.

"I'm not really musical, and I'm really looking forward meeting him and hearing his new songs. I've never played guitar before but I'll try to play it - it will probably end up hanging on my wall though."
