BRING out the artist within via Crafty Kids painting and felting classes over the next three weekends at Coffs Harbour Showground Gallery.

Artist Maggie Haynes has the ability to encourage young artists to achieve incredible results in her intensive four-hour painting workshops for 8-15-year-olds, to be held today and Saturday, April 16. Spinner, weaver and leading local fibre artist Marlene Doherty will lead a four-hour felting workshop for 12-15-year-olds on Saturday, April 9.

Young adults with disabilities are also welcomed at the Crafty Kids workshops run by Coffs Harbour Showground Gallery.

Those who join the workshops at Coffs Harbour Showground will have their work shown in an exhibition from 2pm to 4pm, Sunday, April 17.

The cost is only $10 a session and budding artists should bring their own lunch, as both workshops run from 10am to 2pm.
