Ariel Winter receives flowers from Kim Kardashian West

Kim Kardashian West sent flowers to Ariel Winter to thank her for supporting her naked selfie.

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star sparked controversy earlier this month when she posted a photograph of her baring all, with two strategically-placed black bars preserving her modesty, on Twitter, and has now expressed her gratitude to the 'Modern Family' actress for coming to her defence.

Sharing a picture of the beautiful blooms, Ariel, 18, wrote on Instagram: "Women supporting other women is so powerful."-Mrs. West ps. I gotchu @kimkardashian always xo (sic)"

Alongside the flowers, Kim's message of thanks was also on display.

It read: "Ariel - Hey I wanted you to know I saw your tweets last week and I really appreciate your support. Women supporting other women is so powerful! xoxo Kim (sic)"

Ariel came to the defence of 35-year-old Kim - who has daughter North, two, and son Saint, three months, with husband Kanye West - following the outcry over her decision to strip.

She tweeted: "No one was body shaming @justinbieber when he posted his nude guitar photo so why @KimKardashian? #herbodyherchoice. I think everyone, men and women, should have the right to choose what they do with their bodies - and not be criticized.(sic)"

And the teenage actress isn't the only star to have received flowers from Kim for defending her.

Yesterday (16.03.16) Emily Ratajkowski sent her thanks to the reality TV star for a beautiful bouquet.

The 'Gone Girl' star - who previously posted her own similar nude photo as a show of solidarity - posted: "Thank you for the beautiful flowers and note @kimkardashian. It's so important that we let women express their sexuality and share their bodies however they choose."
