Apply now for NRMA grants offer

TIME is running out for Coffs Coast councils and community groups to apply for a share of $100,000 in NRMA road safety grants.

NRMA Community Road Safety Grants offer local government and community organisations to apply for up to $5000 for projects that address local road safety issues.

NRMA director Wendy Machin said community programs needing a financial boost should get their applications in fast to beat the submission deadline at the end of the month.

“There are so many organisations across the North Coast doing great work in the community that are starved for funding,” Ms Machin said.

“NRMA wants to help these organisations fix road safety issues that are important to them - it's all about education and awareness raising initiatives that tackle the local issues so obvious to those in the community.”
