Appetite for rally dollars

BONETTO’S Cafe is getting dressed for the biggest ever dust-up to hit town.

The countdown to the World Rally Championship is well and truly on, with only 13 days before the event chews up the dirt on the Northern Beaches.

Businesses are starting to get on board the rally juggernaut and Peter and Nadia Boyce from Bonetto’s are leading the way in welcoming the tourists to town.

Favourable stories have filtered down from Kyogle, which also hosted one leg of the tour.

It was reported that one baker made $30,000 in three days as spectators went on the hunt for quick lunches and goodies.

Peter is encouraging business owners to embrace the event to encourage the rally organisers to choose the Coffs Coast again in two years’ time.
