World class rugby on Coffs' doorstep again

THE unbridled enthusiasm of youth was on show at Pacific Bay Resort yesterday as Australia A went through their first training session ahead of Saturday's Pacific Nations Cup match against Samoa at BCU International Stadium on Saturday.

Possibly the most excited player yesterday was Brumbies' prop Salesi Ma'afu who had his first training session with the squad after receiving a late call-up due to an injury to fellow prop Rod Blake.

The Australia A squad will hold an open training session for the public on Wednesday at Pacific Bay Resort from 3.30pm, followed by an autograph signing session.
