Reg, alias purebred Percheron stallion Kamilaroi Regiment, is such a big fella he dwarfs his new owner, Rebecca Rollans. In fact his crested neck is so large she can't get her arms around it to put on his halter. Fortunately, Rebecca says, the 17 hands tall black stallion, a descendant of the horses that carried medieval knights, is exceptionally quiet natured. Kamilaroi Regiment is one of three draught stallions to arrive at the Rollans' Wyndyarra Estate stud farm at Upper Orara this week, but he won't be pulling a plough.
