What a great walk!
THE Coffs Coast has plenty of scenic walks on offer, and another which has been added to the 'must-do' list is a new attraction at Boambee Headland.
The Boambee Headland walkway is a 700-metre paved pathway which skirts around the entire headland, stretching from the bottom carpark to meet up with the steps leading on to Sawtell Beach.
A Coffs Harbour City Council spokeswoman said the path was built by an eight-strong work-for-the-
dole team, and was made possible by the council's environmental levy program.
"There was a previous track there but the latest work is a vast improvement," the spokeswoman said.
"We've had a lot of posi- tive feedback about it and it is essentially complete, apart from a few finishing touches which are required."
The path gives walkers the opportunity to take in some stunning ocean and creek views.
