Wallabies to hold training session at Stadium
THE Wallabies will continue their preparations for Test matches later in the year with an open training session at the Coffs Harbour International Sports Stadium on Saturday, June 3.
England will be Australia's first appointment on the Queen's Birthday weekend.
Most of the training sessions Australia's finest rugby players have in Coffs Harbour are behind closed doors at the Pacific Bay facility but the Saturday session is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
"Although we promote the day for kids we want to see everyone there," manager of council's sports unit, Ben Payne said.
"Mums, D ads, everyone.
"We really want to make it a real community event."
The training session is due to start at 10:30 on the Saturday morning.
Featuring in the session will be the man who is about to become the world's highest paid rugby player, Matt Giteau as well as captain George Gregan and the man quietly tipped to take over, Stirling Mortlock.
The stadium's gates open at 9am on the day and everyone is encouraged to get there early to find themselves a great vantage point and also allow the younger members of the crowd can grab for themselves the posters and stickers available as part of the day's giveaway.
The Wallaby posters might find themselves on eBay after all the Wallaby players particpate in an autograph signing session after training.
