Triplets ready for the good times

Dressed in her crisp new uniform, shiny new shoes and lugging her too-big school bag, 5-year-old Michaela Beehag was calm, cool and collected as she walked through the gates of Coffs Harbour Christian Community School. So excited was she about her first day of school yesterday, she went to bed the night before with her school hat on. Of course, as with most kindergarten students, there were some nerves, but Michaela (pictured at right) has a secret weapon: she is a triplet. Also starting school was her brother Jack and sister Georgie ? with all three thrilled to finally be at 'big school'. About 9000 children are expected to return to Government schools this week in the Coffs Harbour Education Group, which stretches from Bonville to Woolgoolga, with 700 of them kindergarten children.
