Tracie's new role

CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to our new sports administrator, Tracie Smith.

With an ever growing association just bursting at the seams, she certainly has a huge task to undertake.

The move from chilly Geelong to Coffs Harbour has been a lifestyle change and along with her two daughters, Ashleigh and Lauren, she is enjoying her new home.

But a change in location, does not change the fact that general life necessities continue, and so the family are still involved in the world of sport with both girls competing at representative level basketball.

Tracie, herself, has had extensive and successful enjoyment as an avid horsewoman in the arena of competition and fully appreciates the sporting environment.

She eagerly started on January 24 and already has demonstrated that she will have the Association's administration working in a professional manner for 2005.

As sports administrator, Tracie will be responsible for the general administration tasks involved in running such a large association.

She will also handle member registrations, banking and MYOB accounting, oversee the domestic and school competitions, as well as assisting in the running of the representative program.

In an effort to accommodate our members and competition participants, the hours of the Basketball office will now be from 1pm to 6pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Tracie is very approachable and would love to meet our members.

She is also very receptive to any suggestions or proposals to assist in the organisation.
