Surfing stars out to meet Coffs fans

COFFS COAST gromets and gidgets will have the opportunity to meet their heroes next week, with some of surfing's best heading to town.

Mark Occhilupo, Joel Parkinson, Shaun Cansdell and Brendan Margison are considered among the world's best professional surfers, gracing magazine covers and leading the life of which so many dream.

Coinciding with the Coffs Harbour Billabong pro junior event, being held at Macauleys Headland from this Wednesday to next Sunday, February 18 ? part of the world Junior Pro Circuit ? Coopers Surf Australia is bringing these legends to town to meet their fans.

They will be at Coopers Surf Australia, Park Beach Plaza, on Thursday at 5pm, ready with pen in hand to sign autographs and hand out giveaways.

Also between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday at the store, CHY-FM will be launching a new radio show hosted by local radio personality Fergo and Big Brother's Jessica Hardy.

It will be a current countdown-style show including interviews with various celebrities and continuous giveaways.

And if you needed another reason to go along, Coppers will be giving one lucky shopper a free trip for two to Bali courtesy of Travelworld Park Beach Plaza.
