Stripping for a good cause

KEEPING interested onlookers away from the banana packing shed and persuading an early-bird fishermen to take his rod and reel elsewhere were among the obstacles overcome by the intrepid models for Coffs Harbour's Calendar Girls 2005 Calendar.

The calendar, which features 13 Coffs Harbour women wearing nothing except strategically placed props, was launched at a cocktail function at the Bunker Cartoon Gallery on Wednesday.

The calendar is being sold to raise money to build the Patients and Carers Lodge, next to the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

Calendars are $10 each, $8 for bulk orders, and available from the Coffs Coast Advocate and Travelworld at Park Beach Plaza.

Bulk orders phone Adam Sherwell 6652 5829 or Greta Lindsay 6652 6766.
