Softball team fourth



THE North Coast boys PSSA softball team has returned from the State Championships at Manly.

Team manager, Lorne Smith said that the side performed extremely well, finishing a creditable fourth.

"This was a strong side that I felt probably couldn't have performed better," he said.

"The team won four and lost four matches with players, Dean Gillespie, Kurt Hawkey, Jake Nind, Fletcher Patterson, Nathan Sharp, Mitchell Watt, and Fletcher Wyver standing out for their respective plays."

Final results were: 1st MacKillop, 2nd Sydney West, 3rd Sydney North and 4th North Coast.

Beau Henry from Aldavilla Public School near Kempsey was selected to represent NSW at the national titles in Adelaide in the week of November 20 to 25.
