Showgirl loves the coast



ALINTA Hassen is the first entry in the 2005 Coffs Harbour Showgirl competition.

The 17-year-old Bonville resident is studying Year 12 at Bishop Druitt College and would like to become a make-up artist, remedial masseuse or chef, when she leaves school.

Her hobbies include playing the violin, painting, drawing, sewing, cooking and cake decorating, and her sporting interests include horse riding, walking, squash and swimming.

She sees the Showgirl competition as an opportunity to represent the Coffs Coast and also to remind people to be grateful for the beautiful place they live in.
