Seniors set to fire up
BUCKLE up spectators.
The senior domestic basketball competitions will prove hard to pass up as teams add fuel to the fire, to spark another impressive year of rivalry and contest.
The Tuesday night women's competition will commence on Tuesday, February 7 and the men's competition will thunder onto the court on Wednesday, February 8.
Nomination forms will be available from the Basketball office from January 24.
Teams should pick up a nomination form and return as soon as possible to ensure entry.
Junior representative teams
IT is the new Coffs Harbour Basketball Association Inc policy of using the Odd Age as following year's trials for junior representative teams.
However, any new families to Coffs Harbour and surrounds, who would like to have their children trial for representative teams, can do so by contacting Sue Goldsmith, administrator, in the basketball office on 6651 1452 next week.
On the home front
ASSOCIATION members may notice a small facelift to the Association office in future.
It is hoped that the re-organization will provide a more functional environment for all operators to efficiently and professionally assist.
In order to alleviate the increasing technological demands, a new computer will also be installed.
This installation will come with a new website on which members will be able to access weekly competition draws, up-to-date point-scores and results, as well as regular features, stories and news.
Coffs Harbour Basketball Association is calling for expressions of interest from people wishing to undertake positions of court supervisor for Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Friday night and Saturday morning competitions.
Expressions of interest should be lodged at the Basketball office closing January 25 or faxed 6651 4047 or email to email@example.com.
