Rain, like it used to rain

It's been great weather for frogs so far this month, with a very wet start to the year in Coffs Harbour. Before we were even halfway through January, more rain had already fallen on our heads than for the whole of January last year, which received 301mm. After the downpour of the past few days ? during which 77.8mm fell ? the city had recorded 381.2mm during the first 20 days of the month. While we're still well short of the highest January rainfall ever recorded of 512.6mm, with another 10 days in the month, if this trend continues we may well get there.
