Raid nets big haul of drugs, cash, goods

A COFFS HARBOUR man, 40, is being held in custody after police seized between $50,000 and $100,000 worth of stolen and illegal goods in a raid on a property in Pearce Drive yesterday.

As a result of ongoing investigations, Coffs Harbour Target Action Group officers executed a search of the premises around noon, and seized 50 grams of amphetamine, 220 grams of cannabis, $3000 cash, along with an array of items including jewellery and other household items.

The man was charged with three counts of supply of a prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, two counts of dealing with property suspected to be the proceeds of crime and goods in custody.

The man appeared in court yesterday morning and was granted very strict conditional bail that he was unable to meet.

He has been remanded in custody until he is to appear in court at a later date.
