Plan for all-day spectacular in Harbour Drive next Wednesday

A HIGHLIGHT of the Coffs Coast International Buskers Festival will be the city centre 'All Day Spectacular', on Wednesday. Harbour Drive will be transformed into a gigantic street party with clowns, face painters, roving artists, music and, of course, buskers from all over the world. The co-organiser of the event, Jenny Oloman from Streets Ahead, said the day would hold something for everyone. "A major part of the fun will, of course, be the Growers' Market which is happen- ing on the Wednesday instead of the Thursday that week," Ms Oloman said. "You won't miss out on the usual excellent, fresh produce ? you'll just be getting it a day early, plus you'll have all the fun of the Buskers Festival too." The market will be open as usual from 11am until 4pm. The buskers will also be performing that same night in the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort's 'Buskers in the Green'. Tickets for this event can be obtained from the resort on 6659 7000. Also making an appearance at the 'All Day Spectacular' will be the Vodafone Bonds Bus, showcasing all the latest swimwear and underwear fashions. This can't be missed for the giveaways alone. This is the fourth year of the Buskers Festival, one of only two dedicated festivals of street theatre on mainland Australia. Acts from Canada, the US, Europe, the UK and from across Australia are going to be doing their best to entertain you at every opportunity. For further info visit www.coffsharbourbuskers.com
