THE 2004-2005 season is looming as a big one for Coffs Harbour softball.

Organisers have been inundated with inquiries as several clubs have indicated a return to competition and the new-look association has approached the year with a fresh, new attitude.

Registrations for the Toormina club will be held at Toormina Gardens Shopping Centre today from 9.30am-11.30am.

Royals will hold their registrations at Bray St oval today from 10am-11am while training and registrattions will also be held at the same venue on Wednesday from 4.30pm-5.30pm.

Both clubs welcome players of all ages in teams registered for TBall, under-13s, under-16s, seniors and mixed.

Softball is a growing sport in the Coffs Harbour area with the season running from October to March.

Coffs Harbour will also host a carnival on the Australia Day long weekend next year which attracts teams from throughout the region.

Players will be needed this season to be involved in representative teams.

Softball extends an invitation for everyone who has finished their winter sports to try a new sport and have fun at the same time.

Softball is a social sport and it is always great to see new players.
