Out of control

Speed appears to have been a factor in a single-car accident on Harbour Drive late yesterday afternoon. While police were unavailable for comment late yesterday, it is believed the young P-Plate driver had recently bought the early model Toyota Corolla. The accident was attended by two ambulances and the Coffs Harbour Fire Brigade, with the single occupant trapped in the car for a short period. The young male driver was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus. No details of his injuries were available at the time of going to press. Further details will be available in the Coffs Coast Advocate tomorrow.
