NO, the monster from the deep hasn't surfaced to eat away the Sawtell Rock Pool!

Our popular swimming hole has just received its annual clean out, just in time for the tourist season. It takes just one day to clean out the Sawtell Rock Pool as an excavator is put to work removing the excess sand while the tide is at its lowest.

Algae, green weed, and excess mussels are also removed from the ramp and stairs and, when the high tide arrives, the pool is re- filled with ocean water.
