Night out raises $20,000 for Towers

THEY came prepared with their dancing shoes and extra cash and they weren't disappointed.

The weekends's Gala Auction and Black Tie evening to help raise funds for the Towers of Strength saw 120 of Coffs Harbour's finest-dressed support this fabulous cause.

Keeping the appeal on track to reach its total, the event raised around $20,000 from the auction and ticket sales.

Organisers were extremely pleased with this total, but want to remind the community that there is still a long way to go.

The Towers of Strength project is aiming to raise $200,000. Currently the total stands at $110,000.

Any organisation who wants to help this cause should contact co-ordinator, Loretta Rigby on 6658 0226.

Donations can also be made at Bananacoast Community Credit Union.
