Matildas enjoy time off in the Coffs Coast surf

By BRAD GREENSHIELDS

THE finest female footballers that this country can assemble may be in a pressure cooker Olympic qualifier at BCU International Stadium on Saturday but you wouldn't know it.

A morning session spent frolicking on the beach was the order of the day for the Matildas with the girls braving the cool water temperatures to enjoy some bodysurfing and splashing about.

The Matildas will get down to some serious training this afternoon at BCU International Stadium from 4pm, with a special meet-the-players and autograph session for fans scheduled for afterwards.

Free posters are being made available to all football fans who attend this afternoon so they get the signature of their favourite players.
