Mahoney fundraiser

CLASSMATES of Australian Deaf rugby player Simon Mahoney are holding a fundraising sausage sizzle at the Lismore TAFE quadrangle today. The cost of attendance will be a gold coin donation with all money going to Mahoney's cost of touring with the Aussie team. Mahoney, who plays with Southern Cross University, was remarkably picked in the Australian side after playing only a couple of games with the Gold Rats. Sizzling action gets underway from noon.
