Made the right change
LARRY and Adrienne Langman realised just how right their decision to move to the country was on a recent visit back to the city.
"We truly realised just how wonderful it was to be living here when we had to go back to Sydney. We both couldn't wait to leave again," Adrienne said.
After a lifetime of city living, the Langmans now call Nana Glen home and will next week celebrate 12 months at their dream farm in the country.
"In retrospect, we both agree that it has probably been the best year of our lives," Adrienne said.
Despite having no experience in farming, the couple believe they have learnt a lot over the past 12 months.
"We are hoping to run a self-sufficient farm and have many plans for the future. At the moment we are completing an organic farming course at TAFE and are picking things up as we go. It is a big learning process ? learning what a farm is and what a farm should be," Larry said.
Whether they are referred to as seachangers or treechangers doesn't really matter to the Langmans. What is important is that they love living on the Coffs Coast and have no plans to move.
Coffs Coast residents, and people all across Australia, will have the chance to follow the Langmans' move from Sydney to Nana Glen ? and all the ups and downs in between ? when they appear on The Real Seachange tomorrow night on Prime at 6.30pm.
