Long, warm winter

Welcome to winter on the Coffs Coast! There may still be four weeks until spring officially begins, but if the early appearance of shorts and skirts is anything to go by, locals and visitors alike aren't going by the calendar. Much like John Cozens and Sim and Andrew Riley (pictured at Emerald Beach), people yesterday took to the outdoors on what was another glorious winter day, and it looks likely to continue into the working week. The outlook for today is fine and sunny with a top of 19 and a low of 5 overnight.
