Locked in battle

THE superpowers of Coffs Harbour cricket are going head to head this weekend for grand final glory. Rival skippers Craig Haworth (left) and Angus Garland were all smiles for this picture yesterday but come high noon at Woolgoolga's High Street ground, the time for fun will be over. Garland is trying to lead Sawtell to a historic fourth consecutive title while Haworth is hoping to annex a premiership for Northern Districts in their first year back in the top-flight competition.
