Letting go is hard for mums and dads

Is it harder for the kids just starting or the mums and dads who drop them off on their first day at kindergarten? There weren't many tears to be seen as kids waved goodbye to their families yesterday, but there were plenty of parents not too eager to let their babies go just yet. Matthew and Elisa Brown were among the many parents who watched their children settle in with their kindy class at Narranga Primary School before waving goodbye through the window. Their daughter, Taeya, is one of 80 students at Narranga, and a whopping 700 across the Coffs Coast to start school this year.
