NAMBUCCA Heads sprinter Laura Duncan capped another busy athletics year winning a bronze medal at Australian All Schools in Sydney.
Competing at Homebush Stadium earlier this week, Laura, 15, set a new personal best of 12.41 taking third in the final of the 16 years girls 100 metres.
Laura also reached the final of the 200 metres where she clocked 25.37 in finishing a close fourth.
Earlier this year she ran qualifying times for Australian All Schools finishing second in the 100 metres and third in the 200 metres at the State championships also held at Homebush where she also contested the under-16 girls long jump.
Nambucca High School's under-16 girls 4 x 100 metres relay team finished second at the State championships earlier this year leaving the powerful Westfield Sports High in their wake.
