Junior rep. cricketers looking forward to another big season

THIS year's junior representative teams will once again aim to dominate representative cricket, says the president of the Coffs Harbour and District Junior Cricket Association, Mark Bellamy. "To continue on from last year would be the ultimate," Bellamy said. "Last year we made the finals in all three grades and won two of them. "There are a lot better coaches in this area now. The boys are better prepared for the season." An all new Under 12's side has also been put together this year with the others moving on to Under 14's. The sides have also been selected early to allow more time for coaching. "What we're doing is that the coaches will put together training sessions earlier and we are going up to Armidale on October 15 to play the Armidale sides in all three grades," Bellamy said. "Coaches will test out the sides and players will gain match experience before the season starts."
