Joe told start the Bonville deviation now

NO more excuses for the Bonville deviation ? get the job done!

This is the message going out to NSW Minister for Roads Joe Tripodi this week after member for Cowper Luke Hartsuyker and State member Andrew Fraser launched a campaign calling for a fast-track of two tenders for works at Pine Creek.

More than 35,000 letters and brochures are being distributed to households on the Coffs Coast, giving everyone the opportunity to tell Mr Tripodi to stop delaying the commencement of works.

Residents just need to sign a letter which will then be taken to State Parliament by Andrew Fra- ser.

Mr Hartsuyker said despite a funding commitment by both the NSW and Australian governments to the Bonville deviation, Mr Tripodi wants another six months to consider two tenders for the works.

"If you look past the rhetoric of Joe Tripodi, every time someone provides him with the opportunity to get on with the job he finds another reason for work on the Bonville deviation not to commence," Mr Hartsuyker said.

Andrew Fraser has called on Mr Tripodi to accept the Australian Government's $30 million of- fer and get work under way.
