Hunt still on for Midway robber



POLICE are still trying to track down a man who tried to rob Coffs Harbour's Midway Store on Wednesday.

The man entered the Harbour Drive shop at 10.50am and produced a kitchen knife.

He told the shop assistant to open the cash register, but she refused.

The man then fled from the store with a packet of cigarettes.

He was last seen heading east on Harbour Drive.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 20s, with a thin build, a goatee beard, and was wearing at the time a dark hooded top.
