Help 6000 Ulysses bikers grow old disgracefully

SHIRLEY wants you.

And your friends.

In return you get to spend as much time as you like gazing at gleaming motorbikes, one of which you might get to ride away.

Yes, one blue-hot Honda Today 100cc scooter could be yours if you volunteer more than eight hours of your time helping a bunch of bikers grow old disgracefully at the Ulysses AGM from May 21 to 27.

Coffs Harbour branch president Shirley Rose said about 6000 Ulysses members from as far away as New Zealand, Perth, and Darwin were expected to roll into town for the week-long meeting, bringing wads of cash to spend throughout the district.

"We need volunteers before, during and after the meeting," Shirley said.

Help is required with registration, marshalling crowds and bikes, security, manning the AGM shop, cleaning up the site and assisting members to find their way around the place.

Anyone interested is urged to phone Ulysses AGM volunteer co-ordinator Brian Platts on 6656 1648 (after hours) or 0400 409 681.
