Greenhouse Tavern Social Fishing Club

TODAY is the club's second comp for the season, start time is 5am. Final weigh in will be 2pm tomorrow at the Greenhouse. With a low tide of 0.37 at 4.06 this morning the boats may need to launch well after sunrise. But come high tide at 10.22am there's plenty of water, 1.80m according to the calendar tide chart compiled and produced by Moonee resident Robert Thorsby, the calendar is well put together and you can check it out at calendar @ thorsby.com.au

Last month's comp was taken out by the 2004 club champion Steve Abel with 74 points, followed by Derek McVey on 47 and Bruce Pollock on 22. The Coffs Bait and Tackle junior winner's prize went to Dean Winkler. A lot of fish have been weighed in for the out of hours comp, but there's a few empty spots on the board and the fish already on the board can be beaten.

So good luck to all this weekend. ? DAVE
