Grant's Thrisby is something to see

Grant Vincent is generally more comfortable getting tackled violently to the ground than he is wearing a frilly frock. But next week, the Orara Valley Axemen footballer will don a dress to entertain crowds as he plays the role of Francis Flute, who plays the part of Thisby, in William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. And while the outdoor play at the Botanic Garden, with its cast of eager local performers, will be one to remember for the audience, Grant's mates are sure to never let him forget it. Despite this being his first play, he's not nervous, saying 'I'm used to making a fool of myself', although he still plans to get his footy boots back on as soon as he can.
