Get yer paws on this!

HENRY Meyers just might be the fruitiest man in Coffs Harbour if you're talking about paw paw trees, that is.

Henry's amazingly fertile paw paw tree is just less than 5 foot tall and has over 100 paw paws dangling from its branches.

"And there's still more to come!" he said.

Henry, who has an accomplished garden in his Roseland's Estate backyard, said that his friend Arthur from down the road gave him two plants around twelve months ago.

"Arthur gave me two plants, but the other one died. This one's really making up for it now!"

Henry said that he's not sure why his tree has produced such a large amount of fruit.

"I'm not really sure why it has so many. I've been told they usually only get five or six."

Henry has long been an avid gardener, and now with the help of his granddaughter Emily, he grows all the veggies he needs.
