Fun on tbe high seas

While it may look like these 15 Japanese students (pictured with facilitator, Bob Beck) are simply enjoying a beautiful Coffs Harbour day aboard a yacht, the group are actually in class. As one of the two groups studying English at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus' English Language Centre, the group are currently completing modules from the Certificate 1 in National Maritime Operations. Aboard the 55-foot ketch, Endurance, the students spent yesterday doing a mooring and anchoring practical session. Aside from taking the form of classroom, Endurance can also be chartered.
