Family plea, have you seen Zac?
HE'S only 13, and his anxious family doesn't know where he is.
The last confirmed sighting of Zac Phillips, who lives with his dad at Urunga, was at 4.30pm on Wednesday at Woolworths, Nambucca Heads.
The Year 7 Nambucca Heads High School student is believed to be making his way to Queensland, where his mother lives, and he may be hitchhiking.
His family has told police he probably has no cash, only the clothes on his back.
A truck driver saw a boy fitting Zac's description hitching north at 10pm on Wednesday near the Bailey Centre on the Pacific Highway at Coffs Harbour.
Zac was last seen wearing his school uniform ? a light-blue shirt, blue three-quarter-length shorts and white joggers, and he was carrying a grey backpack.
He is described as 157cm tall, with an olive complexion, average build, brown eyes and medium-length straight brown hair.
Police are concerned for Zac's safety.
