District cricket is called off yet again

A WEEK of bad weather forced the cancellation of Saturday's comeback round of Coffs Harbour District Cricket.

But all is not lost to the teams with all games reverting to the one-day format for decision next weekend.

Coffs Hotel (West Coffs) Tigers play Nana Glen at Fitzroy Oval, Diggers Ex-services face Sawtell at Brelsford Park while Park Beach Bowling Club Colts are drawn to play Bellingen at Coffs Sport and Leisure Park.

Meanwhile, three of the district's most promising junior players will spend a week on the Central Coast playing in the Bradman Cup under-16 series.

Joe Willman (Diggers Ex-Services), Nathan O'Connor (Sawtell) and Sam Davey (Northern Districts) were all selected following trial matches held last year.

This will be the second season for Willman in Bradman Cup and comes after his stong performance against touring Windsor Boys School and being chosen for a tour of Argentina.
