Dig deep to guarantee a hit

JUST one more sleep until things kick off at this years Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival, so it's time to start fishing into your pockets for that extra change.

This year organisers are asking locals and visitors to dig deep to show your appreciation for the buskers who have come halfway across the world to entertain the masses that will visit the festival.

While chucking some change in the hat at the end of the performance is not compulsory, organisers are hoping that when buskers leave the festival, they will remember how generous the people of Coffs Harbour were.

"This is the only form of entertainment where you get to pay after the performance," organiser John Logan said.

And Mr Logan is asking us all to be generous this year and help Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival become the biggest event in country NSW since Tamworth's Country Music Festival in January.
