Chefs ready to test their menu

COFFS Ex-Services Club chefs Michael Ellis and Peter Nash will spend the next few weeks sharpening their knives and their skills.

Michael and Peter form one of 12 culinary pairs to reach the final of the ClubsNSW 'Chef's Table 2008' competition.

To reach the final they had to devise a three-course menu demonstrating their creativity and cooking skills within a specified budget.

They will prepare their meal for 20 guests, which will include a team of three judges, at the club on March 19.

Their achievement is very exciting for the Coffs Ex-Services Club, where Michael and Peter show off their skills daily in The Brasserie and are proving a hit with all diners.
