Chasing fourth

THE dust had hardly settled on the 2004 season when Macksville immediately turned their attentions to the 2005 season and a crack at four straight premierships.

Captain-coach Paul Davis, five-eighth Gary Jarrett and the evergreen Neville Donovan will almost certainly don the blue and white next year for a place in Group 2 history.

More reports from the premiership win by Macksville will appear later in the week including a feature article on Reg Donovan senior, a man who has been with the club since 1973 going through the highs and lows which only rugby league has to offer.

There will also be post-match comments from Paul Davis and coverage in Greg White's Flick Pass column on Friday.
