Boxing world is talking about Baff

WINNING easy with a first-round knockout last week has made the boxing world sit up and take notice of the power that Daniel Baff possesses.

After only five professional fights, 'Biffa' still hasn't been beyond the third round as all of his four victories have come via the short road.

Fijian Rakesh Kumar was the light-heavyweight's victim last week on the Mundine under card and now Baff is desperately hoping an opponent can be found for the December 8 fight night to be held at the Coffs Ex-Services Club.

"I'm not exactly 100 per cent sure who I'll be fighting at this stage but there's a few out there," the 23 year old said.

"I'm fresh at the moment, I don't think I even broke into a sweat the other night.

"It was great to be there though, a great atmosphere, a good crowd, it was just good."

Baff's father Terry is hoping that he can arrange a fight in a couple of weeks time that all local fight fans would love to see.

Fellow local Justin Clements was also on the Mundine card last week and Baff is throwing out a challenge on behalf of his son, calling on the the former national title holder to go toe-to-toe in front of all locals to settle once and for all the argument over who is the better of the pair.
